چکیده
Modeling heat transfer in complex heterogeneous fractured system is key for geothermal energy applications. Discrete fracture network (DFN) modeling the classical framework to reproduce advective part of transport, which determined by connectivity and heterogeneity. This approach general sacrifices representation rock matrix, disregarding both its diffusive exchange with fractures effects thermo-mechanical deformation on aperture. Here we propose a new semi-analytic formulation that can be implemented DFN simulator particle tracking approach. The contribution matrix terms thermal contraction/expansion analytically evaluated, respectively impact aperture variation. method proved accurate robust. Results from simulations cold fluid injection show contraction affects transmissivity, accelerates transport resulting faster recovery at outlet. methodology enables investigating reservoir behavior optimizing performance while keeping computational effort within reasonable values. allows exploring uncertainty cases when situ characterization poor, spirit modeling.

A New Modified Particle Filter With Application in Target Tracking
The particle filter (PF) is a novel technique that has sufficiently good estimation results for the nonlinear/non-Gaussian systems. However, PF is inconsistent that caused mainly by loss of particle diversity in resampling step and unknown a priori knowledge of the noise statistics. This paper introduces a new modified particle filter called adaptive unscented particle filter (AUPF) to overcome th...

In this paper, we investigate a new approach based on WISARD Neural Network for the tracking of non-rigid deformable object. The proposed approach allows deploying an on–line training on the texture and shape features of the object, to adapt in real–time to changes, and to partially cope with occlusions. Moreover, the use of parallel classificators trained on the same set of images allows track...
